Q:
Where/How do I check-in for my flight?Answer
A:
Most flights will allow you to check-in online which, nowadays, is the easiest and preferred method for most travellers. If you want/have to check-in at the airport, or you need to use the baggage drop facility, you should look at the information screens in the departure halls. These screens will direct you towards the check-in zone/desk for your particular airline or flight.
Q:
What is API and why do I need to submit it?Answer
A:
For security reasons, the law requires all airlines to collect API (Advance Passenger Information) for all passengers before travel to or from the USA and certain other countries. If necessary, we will endeavour to notify you if you are required to submit this. You can usually submit this information online directly with your airline or operator. The information required is your name, date of birth, address, gender, country of passport issue, passport ID number, country of citizenship and passport expiry date.
Q:
I am pregnant can I fly?Answer
A:
Airlines have different regulations on the matter of flying whilst pregnant. Most airlines will allow you to fly up to 28 weeks pregnant. Please bear in my that you need to base this calculation on the date of your RETURN flight. Some airlines will also request a doctor's certificate stating that you are fit to fly. It is also strongly recommended that you check with your travel insurance company as to whether your policy will cover you. Failure to comply with airline regulations may result in cancellation and denial of boarding and we cannot be held responsible for any such occurrence.
