Under British-French ownership it was constructed from 6 town houses plus a riad over a period of 4 years, and designed in traditional Moorish Moroccan style. The work was carried out by local craftsmen following age-old methods to ensure complete authenticity.
Le Jasmin restaurant serves refined French cuisine, along with traditional Moroccan specialities and vegetarian dishes. The swimming pool is perfect for cooling off after a day spent exploring the hot, dusty city - unlike many pools in the medina, which are little more than plunge pools, this is 10 metres by 5 metres, and heated in winter, so you can actually swim a lap, making your Morocco holidays even more special! The poolside snack bar serves refreshing drinks and light meals - great if you want a lighter lunch.
This is one of the few hotels in Marrakech to operate a no-smoking policy in enclosed spaces. In fact the hotel operates a strict environmental policy throughout taking into account its impact on the environment, its staff and animal welfare to make sure it falls within the standards set for responsible tourism. It is not often that you can feel virtuous about staying somewhere so lovely!

"I travel a lot with work and have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world, but this was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel has been beautifully constructed using local artisans to highlight Moroccan design. The hotel location is near to major attractions, yet tucked away off the busy streets and is therefore really quiet. The pool area is a real sun trap and the high walls keep out any wind. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food and wine was excellent (both Moroccan). Will definitely return."
