Days 1-2 : Fly to Hanoi
Fly overnight to Hanoi.
Day 3 : Explore Hanoi
See Hanoi’s famous sights including the Ho Chi Minh Complex and Temple of Literature. Enjoy an evening performance of the Water Puppets. (B,L)
Day 4 : Halong Bay Junk Cruise
Travel to the UNESCO Site of Halong Bay, known as the Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam, and take a relaxing cruise between the spectacular limestone islets. Return to Hanoi later in the day. (B,L)
Day 5 : Cookery Class, Hoi An
Fly to Danang and transfer to the UNESCO town of Hoi An, stopping at the Marble Mountains. Later participate in a cookery class. (B,L)
Day 6 : Hoi An Walking Tour
Enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An and visit the Japanese Bridge, Hoi An Market, a Chinese Temple and an old merchant’s home. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B,L)
Day 7 : Discover Saigon
Fly to Saigon and explore Vietnam’s largest and most vibrant city. (B,L)
Day 8 : Cu Chi Tunnels & Tay Ninh
Explore the amazing network of Cu Chi Tunnels and attend the noon service at the Cao Dai Temple. Return to Saigon. (B,L)
Days 9-10 : Mekong Delta, Fly to UK
Travel to Ben Tre and cruise on the Mekong River to explore the delta, the Rice Basket of Vietnam. Enjoy the scenery as we travel through palm lined canals on wooden sampans passing stilt houses and fish farms before returning to Saigon. Later fly overnight to the UK, arriving home the following day. (B,L)
