African Trilogy invites you to discover three of Africa’s leading destinations.
In Zambia visit Livingstone where the mighty Zambezi plummets over the magnificent Victoria Falls. Your accommodation is situated within walking distance of the Falls and gives you unlimited access to them, allowing you to visit them as often as you like, in addition to your included guided walking tour.
Chobe National Park in Botswana is famous for its large elephant and buffalo herds. Situated on the banks of the Chobe River and on the edge of Chobe National Park, your lodge offers a choice of game drives or cruises, allowing you to get close to the estimated 40,000 elephants that inhabit the park.
In north eastern Namibia, Susuwe Island Lodge offers visitors the opportunity to experience a wild and untouched island of Africa. Game drives in to the Bwabwata National Park are in open 4 x 4 vehicles and game sightings in this cradle of rivers include vast herds of roaming elephants and buffaloes, lions, hippos and leopards.
DAY 1 LONDON-LIVINGSTONE
Fly from Heathrow overnight via Johannesburg to Livingstone.
DAY 2 LIVINGSTONE
Transfer to the hotel situated within walking distance of the Falls. In the late afternoon take an included sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Overnight: Zambezi Sun.
DAY 3 LIVINGSTONE
Meet your guide and walk the short distance to the Victoria Falls for a guided tour. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight: Zambezi Sun. (b)
DAY 4 LIVINGSTONE-CHOBE
Transfer by road and ferry across the border into Botswana, to your lodge situated close to the Chobe River and Chobe National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game cruise along the river into the Chobe National Park famous for its large elephant and buffalo herds. Overnight: Chobe Game Lodge. (b,l,d)
DAY 5 CHOBE
Choose between game drives and game cruises for your morning and afternoon activities. Overnight: Chobe Game Lodge. (b,l,d)
DAY 6 CHOBE
Your last day in Chobe and another chance to spot the ‘big five’ as well as the antelopes, hippos, crocodiles and bird life that decorate the waterways of this river system Overnight: Chobe Game Lodge. (b,l,d)
DAY 7 CHOBE-CAPRIVI
Drive across the border to Susuwe Island located in the Eastern Caprivi Strip within Namibia, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. Overnight: Susuwe Island Lodge. (b,l,d)
DAYS 8-9 CAPRIVI
Board your open 4×4 vehicle for your morning and afternoon game drives into the Bwabwata National Park where game sightings in this cradle of rivers could include vast herds of roaming elephants and buffaloes, lions, hippos, leopards, sables, roans, lechwes and pukus. DAY 10 CAPRIVI-LIVINGSTONE
Fly by light aircraft from Susuwe direct to Livingstone where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your final night in this magical region. This flight includes the magnificent ‘Flight of Angels’ over the Victoria Falls. Overnight: Zambezi Sun. (b)
DAY 11 LIVINGSTONE-HEATHROW
Transfer from the hotel to Livingstone airport for your flight to Heathrow. (b)
