Day 1 : Fly to Luang Prabang
Fly overnight to Luang Prabang
Day 2 : Arrive & Explore
On arrival you will be met by your expert tour guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 : Kuang Si Waterfalls
Old Town to Wat Xieng Thong, which dates back to the 16th century. Later journey to Kuang Si Waterfalls, and visit the H’mong village of Ban Na Ouane en route. Stop at the Khmu Village in Ban Thapene before returning to Luang Prabang. (B)
Day 4 : Mekong River Cruise
Travel upstream on the Mekong River to the sacred caves of Pak Ou. Visit a village where you can witness traditional weaving and rice wine distillation. After lunch, continue to Tham Ting and Tham Phoum, and the villages of Ban Xieng Lek and Ban Xieng Khong. In the evening enjoy a traditional music and dance performance. (B,L,D)
Day 5 : Royal Palace & Vientiane
Start the day with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum. Continue to the exquisite Wat Mai, and then fly to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. In the afternoon you will visit Wat Si Saket, Wat Phra Keo, That Luang Stupa and the Patuxai Victory Monument. (B)
Day 6 : Journey to Bangkok
Fly to Bangkok, where the rest of the day is yours to begin exploring. (B)
Day 7 : The Grand Palace
Discover the glittering Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace, Thailand’s most iconic and opulent attraction. The palace is a perfect example of an ancient Siamese court. The remainder of the day is free. (B)
Day 8 : Bangkok at Leisure
Take a day to further explore Bangkok. You may wish to take a tuk-tuk to the famous floating markets, discover deliciously spicy street food, or get lost in the streets of Chinatown. (B)
Day 9 : Fly Bangkok to UK
Fly to the UK.
