Day 1 Arrive Stratford Upon Avon
Arrive at Ettington Park and relax before welcome dinner and drinks.
Day 2 Stratford Upon Avon
See historic Stratford, including behind the scenes at the RSC, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Mary Arden’s Farm
Day 3 Chatsworth House & North Yorkshire
Travel through the Peak District and visit Chatsworth House. Continue through Yorkshire to your country hotel near the market town of Yarm.
Day 4-5 York & The North York Moors
Enjoy a blue badge tour of York, through two thousand years of history and free time in the city. The next day take the North York Moors Railway to Whitby.
Day 6 Durham & Edinburgh
Morning visit to Durham with the impressive cathedral, and continue to Edinburgh.
Day 7-8 Edinburgh
Enjoy a guided tour of Edinburgh, visiting Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile, with a day free for an optional visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia or a walk to Arthur’s Seat.
Day 9-10 Lake District
Travel through the picturesque borders to historic Armathwaite House on the shores of Lake Bassenthwaite. Enjoy relaxing by the lake and tour to Keswick, Windermere and visit Wordsworth’s House.
Day 11-12 Cheshire
A morning trip on the Ullswater Steamer then head back south to Rookery Hall in the heart of Cheshire. A blue badge tour of Chester is followed by a farewell dinner.
Day 13 Depart
Morning journey back to Ettington Park where the tour ends.
