Day 1 Depart London Heathrow
You’ll take an overnight flight to Colombo.
Day 2 Arrive Habarana
On arrival, transfer to the Sorowwa Resort & Spa for 4 nights in Habarana’s central Anuradhapaura District.
Day 3 Habarana
First drive to Aukana to visit the beautifully preserved 12 metre high statue of Buddha and then continue to Dambulla and the isolated rock temple which contains 60 life-size statues of Buddha.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.
Day 4 Habarana
You’ll visit the medieval city of Polonnaruwa to see the Royal Palace complex and Quadrangle. Ancient rock carving skills can be seen at Gal Vihare where four massive images of the Buddha have been cut from a single slab of granite. Then it’s on to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park where elephants gather to bathe.

Day 5 Habarana
Morning visit to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress with the impressive Water Gardens, Frescoes of beautiful maidens, Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’s glory.

Day 6 Habarana to Beruwala
You’ll drive south-west today on a 6 hour journey to the Sri Lankan coast. Your 3 night beach stay will be at Beruwala’s The Palms.

Day 7 & 8 Beruwala
You’ll enjoy 2 full days of rest and relaxation.
Meals: Breakfast.
Day 9 Beruwala to Heathrow
Morning flight to UK, arriving later the same day.
Meals: Breakfast.
