Cape Town, Garden Route & Safari
Day 1-2 London to Cape Town
Overnight flight to Cape Town and on arrival pick up your car or transfer to your city centre hotel for 3 nights.
Day 3-4 Cape Town
Days at leisure in Cape Town. If driving, you can drive down to Cape Point, or you might want to take an optional guided tour. Take a cable car up Table Mountain, and take a boat to visit Robben Island. Try fresh seafood by the beaches of the Cape and see the vibrant waterfront.

Day 5-6 Cape Town to Stellenbosch, Winelands.
A short drive inland brings you into the rolling hills of the Cape winelands. You can call in at an historic winery, try delicious locally grown food and unwind in welcoming Stellenbosch for 2 nights.

Day 7 Stellenbosch to the Garden Route, Plettenberg Bay
Today’s drive leads over the mountains into the Karoo and down the beautiful Garden Route. You can stop in the pretty town of Montagu or the ostrich farm at Oudsthoorn. Arrive in Plettenburg Bay for 3 nights on the coast.

Day 8 – 9 Plettenberg Bay
At leisure on the Garden Route. Take in the scenery of the area with a visit to Knysna lagoon or Tsitsikamma National Park and the Storms River mouth. Or take an optional dolphin and whale watching cruise.

Day 10-11 To Amakhala Game Reserve
Travel along the coast past Port Elizabeth to the Amakhala Game Reserve ion the Eastern Cape. Stay 2 nights in this malaria-free reserve where you might be able to see lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, buffalo and much more. The reserve featured on TV’s Safari Vet School and has excellent conservation programmes. Stay in the reserve on a full board basis, with daily morning and evening game drives.

Day 12 – 13 To London
This morning travel to Port Elizabeth to drop off your car and take overnight flight via Johannesburg to London. Or stay an extra night from £xxx per person
