Cuba Experience
Day 1 To Havana
Fly to Havana and transfer to your hotel for 3 nights in a city centre hotel. Evening at leisure in exciting Havana.
Day 2 Havana
Morning guided tour of Havana, including the old town, Revolution Square, the Malecon and the Ernest Hemmingway museum. Lunch is included in a local restaurant, the afternoon is free to enjoy the lively city. Evening optional Cuban jazz or salsa show.
Day 3 Viñales
Full day tour to Viñales and see the bizarre limestone outcrops covered in tropical forest, dotted with tobacco fields and small villages. Call into a cigar factory, and visit a pre-historic cave among beautiful scenery. Return to Havana for the evening.
Day 4 To Cienfuegos
Travel south across the island, stopping for a swim in a freshwater forest pool. Arrive at the Bay of Pigs and visit the museum and arrive at French-influenced Cienfuegos for 1 night.
Day 5 To Trinidad
Journey across the south coast to Trinidad for two nights in one of the most beautiful towns in the Americas and a world heritage site. Visit the Valley of the Sugar Mills, you can climb the Manaca Iznaga tower for great views and take the steam train through the plantation. Evening in the artistic and musical city.
Day 6 Trinidad
Morning tour to the Topes de Collantes national park, in the green mountains to see Cuba’s beautiful birds, plant life and waterfalls. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy beautiful Trinidad.
Day 7 – 8 To Havana & Depart
Travel back to Havana, stopping en route in Santa Clara at Che Guevara’s mausoleum. Take an overnight flight back to the UK or stay for a few days on the beach, see extension prices below.
