Day 1 Depart Heathrow
On arrival into Luxor you’ll transfer to the Mövenpick M/S Hamees, for the start of your 7 night Nile cruise.
Day 2 Nile Cruise: West Bank and Esna
This morning you’ll visit the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings where magnificent tombs are carved into desert rocks. You’ll also visit the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female Pharaoh, before passing through the lock at Esna and sailing towards Edfu.

Day 3 Nile Cruise: Edfu and Kom Ombo
You’ll embark on a morning visit to Horus Temple at Edfu, the largest and most completelypreserved temple in Egypt. You’ll then sail on to Kom Ombo to visit the temple shared by the two gods,
Sobek and Haroeris, which stands on a bend in the river. Your cruise then continues on to Aswan to moor overnight.

Day 4 Nile Cruise: Aswan High Dam and Unfinished Obelisk
Your morning tour takes in Aswan’s High Dam, which took 11 years to build. You’ll continue to the Unfinished Obelisk and travel by motorboat to the romantic Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis, on the Island of Agilka. This afternoon you’ll board a traditional felucca on the Nile to sail around Elephantine Islands and Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Garden.

Day 5 Nile Cruise: Aswan
You’re at leisure today. There is an exciting opportunity for an optional tour of Abu Simbel at extra cost. Built by Ramses II in 1257 BC, the temples would be lost forever under the waters of Lake Nasser but for UNESCO’s timely rescue operation.

Day 6 Nile Cruise: Edfu and Esna
Returning north you’ll cruise to Kom Ombo via Edfu and overnight at Esna.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 7 Nile Cruise: Luxor
You’ll return to Luxor today along the East Bank to visit the Temples of Karnak, and the beautiful temple of Luxor, dedicated to the God Amun.

Day 8 Luxor to London Heathrow
Early this morning, you’ll disembark and transfer to Luxor airport for your return flight.
