Elewana Sky Safari

Travel in style and comfort in Elewana’s Cessna Grand Caravan light aircraft, with nine executive club class seats. Road transfers and game drives are in safari cruisers equipped with binoculars, guide and reference books, bottle coolers, bush lunch awnings and power point to charge your camera.

This is a true ‘Out of Africa’ experience, travelling through contrasting landscapes with stays in some of the finest accommodation on the safari circuit.

DAY 1 DAILY HEATHROW-NAIROBI
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.

DAY 2 ARUSHA
Fly from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro airport. Met by an Elewana representative and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Enjoy dinner and a complimentary upgrade to a Plantation Suite. Overnight: Arusha Coffee Lodge. (l,d)

DAY 3 TARANGIRE
After breakfast you will be driven to a coffee estate for a tour, then back to Arusha Coffee Lodge for an alfresco lunch in the gardens. After lunch transfer to Arusha airport for your Elewana Sky flight to Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire (approximately 20 minutes). Met on arrival by Tarangire Treetops driver-guide and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park en route to the lodge. Overnight: Tarangire Treetops. (b,l,d)

DAY 4 TARANGIRE
Take an early morning balloon flight over Tarangire, followed by a ‘bubbly’ breakfast (optional extra). Visit a traditional Masai village in the morning or take an early morning guided game walk. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Tarangire National Park, followed by sundowners and a night game drive. Overnight: Tarangire Treetops. (b,l,d)

DAY 5 NGORONGORO
After breakfast, a game drive through Tarangire National Park, stopping for a sumptuous picnic lunch on your way to Kuro Airstrip for your flight to Manyara (approximately 20 minutes). Met on arrival and transferred to Ngorongoro in time for high tea (approximately 1 hour). Overnight: The Manor at Ngorongoro. (b,l,d)

DAY 6 NGORONGORO
After breakfast drive into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of exploring. Enjoy a picnic hamper lunch on the crater floor. Overnight: Manor at Ngorongoro. (b,l,d)

DAY 7 SERENGETI
After breakfast, you have the option of visiting the Lake Manyara National Park or staying at the lodge to explore the estate. Choose from a host of activities including horseback riding and cycling. After lunch transfer to the airstrip at Manyara for your Elewana Sky flight to the Serengeti (approximately 40 minutes). Afternoon game drive and arrive at your camp in time for sundowners and dinner. Overnight: Serengeti Migration Camp. (b.l.d)

DAY 8 SERENGETI
After breakfast you will spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti, where you will enjoy a bush lunch. Return to camp in time for sundowners and dinner. Overnight: Serengeti Migration Camp. (b,l,d)

DAY 9 ARUSHA
After breakfast enjoy a guided game walk along the banks of the Grumeti River before a leisurely lunch. Then a game drive en route to the airstrip (approximately 1 hour) for your onward flight to Arusha (approximately 1 hour). On arrival you will be met by The Arusha Coffee Lodge team and driven to Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you will benefit from an upgrade to a Plantation Suite. Overnight) Arusha Coffee Lodge. (b,l,d)

DAY 10 DEPART
After breakfast you may choose from a selection of activities including a visit to the Tanzanite Museum, the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery or the colourful Masai Market (all payable locally). After lunch transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Nairobi (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Proceed with your chosen beach extension or return to Heathrow. (b,l)

Alternatively, there is the option to fly from Arusha to Zanzibar on days 9 or 10 for your beach extension.

Light aircraft baggage allowance – 15kg – extra luggage can be stored at Arusha Coffee Lodge.

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking – approximately £500.
