Florida In Style With A Cruise To The Mayan World

Day 1 – London – Orlando – Kissimmee
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Heathrow Airport for your direct, scheduled British Airways fl ight to Orlando. On arrival, we transfer you to the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Kissimmee for two nights.

Day 2 – Kissimmee
A day at leisure to perhaps enjoy an optional excursion to the magical Disney® Theme and Water Parks, Universal Studios, SeaWorld or indulge yourself with the array of outlet shopping, alternatively relax and enjoy the hotel facilities.

Day 3 – Kissimmee – Sarasota
This morning we head to the southwest coast and Sarasota, here we take an orientation tour before arriving at the stunning bayside location and the Hyatt Sarasota for two nights.

Day 4 – Sarasota
Today we visit the Ringling Museum of Art where we have a guided tour and view the collection of masterpieces housed in the museum and the stunning palatial Ca’d’Zan Mansion situated on the Sarasota Bay. This evening you are free to dine in one of the sophisticated restaurants at St Armand Circle.

Day 5 – Sarasota – Tampa
This morning we journey across the engineering feat of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge spanning Tampa Bay and onwards to the waterfront of downtown St Petersburg. Here we visit the unique Dali Museum housing a collection of oil paintings, many original drawings, prints and sculptures. This unique building has a corkscrew staircase recalling Salvador Dali’s obsession with spirals. Our visit includes a guided tour through the fascinating exhibits. We continue to Tampa and the Intercontinental Hotel, our base for two nights.

Day 6 – Tampa
A day at leisure to explore the historic neighbourhood of Tampa – Ybor City. Experience the exotic blend of sights and sounds and sample one of the many excellent Cuban restaurants. Alternatively for those that do not want to venture too far, visit the shopping mall and restaurants located directly across from the hotel.

Day 7 – Tampa – At Sea
This morning we transfer to the Port of Tampa to commence the next step of our journey onboard Holland America Line’s MS Ryndam for our 7-night Western Caribbean cruise.

Day 8 – Key West
Early morning arrival in Key West, where Florida makes its last ragged stumble into the celadonwaters of the Gulf of Mexico. The water and the climate have been drawing visitors for centuries, from Ponce de Leon and Harry Truman to writers like Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams. Whilst here, perhaps visit Hemingway’s home located in the very heart of Old Town Key West, where the Nobel Prize winner lived and wrote with his many cats.

Day 9 – At Sea
A day of cruising and time for you to relax and enjoy the onboard facilities.

Day 10 – Roatan Bay Island, Honduras
This morning we arrive in the quiet haven of Roatan Bay. Columbus stopped by; as did the Spanish, English, and one long-ago New Englander who survived as a castaway for more than a year. The west end of the island has many highlights including West Bay Beach, Parque Nacional Sandy Bay, and the energetic town of West End, which has some of the best food in Honduras.

Day 11 – Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala
We arrive in the morning at Santo Tomas de Castilla and an opportunity to visit the fascinating Mayan ruins of Guatemala and Honduras; the mighty Acropolis of Quirigua National Park and Copan, considered as the Paris of the ancient Mayan world. Each an enigma waiting to be solved.

Day 12 – Costa Maya, Mexico
North of Belize and south of Cancun; Costa Maya stretches from the fishing town of Xcalak up the coast to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. Our ship docks at Costa Maya Port, where you can spend time shopping, relaxing or planning an adventure – underwater, along the coast, or into the interior. There are a number of Mayan ruins in the area, including the sprawling Ruins of Xcabal, which are still being uncovered. Our ship departs this afternoon.

Day 13 – At Sea
A final day at sea presents a chance to reflect on the wonderful sights and scenery you have seen as you relax as we sail towards Tampa.

Day 14 – Tampa – In Flight
Morning arrival in Tampa where we disembark and are taken to the International Plaza, where you may wish to do some last minute shopping or enjoy lunch before we are transferred to Tampa Airport for our British Airways flight to London Heathrow.

Day 15 – London
Arrival at London Heathrow Airport where our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
