Days 1-2 : Fly to Shanghai
Fly overnight to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai, also known as the ‘Paris of the East’.
Days 3-4 : Discover Shanghai
Sightseeing today includes a stroll through the beautiful Yu Gardens and the Old Town as well as a visit to the Shanghai Museum (B,L). The next day, walk along the famous Bund, explore the restored Xintiandi area and enjoy a cruise on the panoramic Huangpu River. (B,L)
Day 5 : Fly to Guilin
Fly to the beautiful city of Guilin. (B)
Days 6-7 : Li River Cruise & Yangshuo
Cruise the stunning Li River to Yangshuo (B,L). The next day, explore the colourful local markets returning to Guilin to visit the Seven Star Park and Seven Star Cave. (B,L)
Days 8 : Fly to Xian
Visit Mt Diecai. Later, fly to Xian, the former ancient capital and enjoy a Shui Jiao dumpling meal followed by a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing. (B,L,D)
Day 9 : Terracotta Warriors
Visit the Little Wild Goose Pagoda and the renowned Shaanxi Museum. Also walk through the lively Muslim Quarter to explore the Islamic food markets. Later, fly to Beijing and sample the local delicacy, Peking Duck. (B,L,D)
Day 10 : Visit Xian, fly to Beijing

Day 11 : Explore Beijing
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing. (B,L)
Days 12-13 : Great Wall & Temple of Heaven
Walk on the Great Wall and visit the unique Temple of Heaven. (B,L). The next day, tour the exquisite Summer Palace and enjoy a fascinating Chinese Acrobatic show. (B,L)
Day 14 : Fly Beijing to UK
Fly to the UK, arriving home the same or following day. (B)
