Days 1-2 : Fly to Rangoon (Yangon)
Fly overnight to Rangoon, the former capital of Burma (Myanmar). On arrival you will be met by your expert tour guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 : Journey to Mandalay
Fly to Mandalay, to board the cruise. (B,L,D)
Day 4 : Pottery Village & Mingun
Visit the pottery village of Ngwe Nyein and the town of Mingun to see the largest bell in the world. (B,L,D)
Day 5 : Mandalay, Ava & Amarapura
Explore Mandalay. Visit the ancient capitals of Ava and Amarapura including Bagaya Kyaung and U Bein Bridge. (B,L,D)
Day 6 : Yandabo Pottery Village
Visit the Pottery Village. (B,L,D)
Day 7 : Bagan
Tour the city of Bagan and see a selection of its renowned 3,000 temples. (B,L,D)
Day 8 : Tan Kyi Taung & Salé
Climb Tan Kyi Taung Mountain to view the sunrise. (B,L,D)
Day 9 : Taung Ba Lu School
Visit Taung Ba Lu School and Myat Thalon Pagoda. (B,L,D)
Day 10 : Minhla & Gwechaung Forts
Visit the Italian 18th Century forts of Minhla and Gwechaung. (B,L,D)
Day 11 : Thayetmyo
Wander between colonial houses and visit the market. (B,L,D)
Day 12 : Prome
Visit the former centre of the Pyu civilisation known as Thiri Ya Kittiya. (B,L,D)
Day 13 : Journey to Rangoon
Disembark in Prome, and transfer to Rangoon. Pay an evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda (B,L)
Day 14 : Fly Rangoon to UK
Fly to the UK, arriving home later the same or following day. (B)
