Day 1 : Fly to Hanoi
Fly overnight to Hanoi.
Day 2 : Arrive & Explore
On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 : Discover Hanoi
Sightseeing includes a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Quarter where you will see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec), Stilt House and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Ethnology Museum, the Temple of Literature and Hoan Kiem Lake, and then explore Hanoi’s lively Old Quarter. In the evening, see a performance of the famous Water Puppets. (B,L)
Day 4 : Halong Bay
Travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay, Vietnam’s most iconic attraction. Enjoy a seafood meal whilst cruising between the nearby islands on board a traditionally designed Junk Boat. Stay overnight on board. (B,L,D)
Day 5 : Journey to Siem Reap
Cruise through the limestone islets of Halong Bay before returning to Hanoi for your flight to Siem Reap. (B)
Day 6 : Angkor Wat
Rise early to explore the temples of Angkor, starting with magnificent Angkor Wat. Continue to Angkor Thom, the Bayon, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and the fabulous Ta Phrom. (B,L)
Day 7 : Explore Siem Reap
In the morning, explore the Grand Circuit of Temples including Preah Khan, Neak Poan, Ta Som and East Mebon. The rest of the day is yours to explore. (B)
Days 8-9 : Fly Siem Reap to UK
Fly overnight to the UK. (B)
