Day 1 London – Berlin – Dresden

Day 2 Dresden
This morning you will join your knowledgeable local guide for our included walking tour of the Old Town to introduce you to the historic city of Dresden, which despite war damage is still full of beautiful buildings and fine examples of Baroque architecture. This afternoon we board a river boat in Dresden to admire the beautiful scenery on a sightseeing tour, passing Albrechtsberg Palace, Lingner Palace, Eckberg Palace and finally arriving at Pillnitz Palace, the Baroque jewel and once the summer residence of the Saxon kings. Tea, coffee and cake will be served during your journey, which ends back in Dresden.

Day 3 Colditz Castle – Elbe Cruise
After breakfast we visit Colditz Castle, one of the most notorious prisoner-of-war camps and the inspiration for the film “The Colditz Story”. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to make your own discoveries.

Day 4 Dresden
Today you are free to further explore Dresden independently and at your own pace. The Old Town in particular is a must see, featuring the Procession of Princes, a 102 metre mural portraying a parade of rulers since 1127, and the Frauenkirche, a spectacular Lutheran church located in the heart of Dresden, which has taken a total of 13 years to reconstruct.

Day 5 Meissen – Moritzburg
This morning we depart for our excursion to the historical cradle of Saxony, Meissen, for an included tour of its most popular tourist attraction, the Porcelain Museum, where we discover the making of porcelain wares, known all around the world as masterpieces in “white gold”. After some free time, we journey onto the impressive Baroque hunting lodge in Moritzburg, where we include a guided tour before returning to Dresden and our comfortable hotel.

Day 6 Dresden – Berlin – London
We transfer to Berlin Tegel Airport for our direct, scheduled British Airways flight to London Heathrow Airport. On arrival our staff will greet you and transfer you to your Titan transport for the return journey home to your own front door.
