Days 1-2 : Fly to Beijing
Fly overnight to Beijing, capital of China.
Day 3 : Forbidden City
Stroll through Tiananmen Square past Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum to the treasurefilled Forbidden City. Also visit the unique Temple of Heaven, and enjoy a Peking Duck meal. (B,L,D)
Day 4 : The Great Wall of China
Walk on the Great Wall to appreciate 2,000 years of history while admiring the panoramic views. The Great Wall is China’s most iconic attraction, which stretches over 4,000 miles. Also tour the exquisite Summer Palace. (B,L)
Day 5 : Bullet Train to Xian
Visit the 15th Century Temple of Heaven and take a private lesson with a Tai Chi Master. Later, take the high speed Bullet Train to Xian. (B,L)
Day 6 : Terracotta Warriors
Visit one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century – the Terracotta Warriors. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Shui Jiao dumpling meal followed by a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing. (B,L,D)
Day 7 : Bullet Train to Beijing
Walk along the Ancient City Wall and stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter, past the Great Mosque to explore the Islamic food markets. Board the Bullet Train back to Beijing, passing by China’s beautiful countryside. (B,L)
Day 8 : Fly Beijing to UK
Fly to the UK, arriving home the same or following day. (B)
