The Samburu Game Reserve, is a dramatic and rugged landscape which is truly rewarding. A stay at Samburu Intrepids guarantees close encounters with Samburu’s animals, including elephants, leopards and Samburu’s famous ‘big five’.
Mara Intrepids sits above a sweeping bend in the Talek River, at the confluence of the Masai Mara’s four game-viewing areas, this club enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the world’s best-known wilderness.
DAY 1 DAILY HEATHROW-NAIROBI
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.
DAY 2 NAIROBI
On arrival transfer to your hotel for a day at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions (book and pay locally). Overnight: Nairobi Serena Hotel.
DAY 3 SAMBURU
Fly to the Samburu National Reserve (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes) and transfer to your lodge for lunch. Samburu Intrepids Club looks out over riverbanks where herds of elephants, buffaloes and zebras come daily to drink, together with the rarer species of reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx and long-necked gerenuk antelope. DAY 4 SAMBURU
Early morning and late afternoon game drives. Relax by the pool or camel and walking safaris can be arranged (book and pay locally). Overnight: Samburu Intrepids. (b,l,d)

DAY 6 MASAI MARA
Transfer to the airstrip for a light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara (approximately 45 minutes). An afternoon game drive. Mara Intrepids Club sits above a sweeping bend in the Talek River. Overnight Mara Intrepids. (b,l,d)
DAY 7 MASAI MARA
An early morning balloon flight, followed by a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Time to relax by the pool before a late afternoon game drive. Overnight Mara Intrepids. (b,l,d)
DAY 8 MASAI MARA
