Italian Lakes with a Greek Islands Cruise

Day 1 London – Milan – Lake Maggiore
We begin with Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® to London Heathrow Airport for your scheduled British Airways, or another leading airline, direct flight to Milan. On arrival, our coach will transfer you to the 4★ Hotel La Palma, wonderfully located in its own gardens overlooking Lake Maggiore at Stresa. Tonight we enjoy an included dinner in the restaurant of our hotel.

Day 2-3 Lake Maggiore
After breakfast, we depart for a breathtaking tour of some of Italy’s most picturesque scenery. We begin with a boat ride across the glistening waters of Lake Maggiore to Isola Bella, one of the four Borromean Islands.
The sumptuous Palazzo Borromeo, built in the 17th century and surrounded by magnificent gardens, contains works by Giovanni Tiepolo and Van Dyck and sculptures by Canova. Later in the day, we visit Isola Pescatori or ‘Fishermen’s Island’.
We return to our hotel in Stresa and this evening you are free to choose where you wish to dine. The next day you will have the entire day to explore Stresa at your own pace.

Day 4 Lake Maggiore – Verona – Venice
A leisurely breakfast and time to enjoy the beautiful lakeside setting before we join our coach and transfer to Venice to embark the ship. En-route we will make a stop in the elegant city of Verona before continuing for an afternoon embarkation on Norwegian Jade. Once you have settled into your cabins, be sure to enjoy the unsurpassed experience of sailing from Venice Harbour at the commencement of our memorable cruise.

Day 5 At Sea
A day at sea gives you the perfect opportunity to familiarise yourself with the onboard facilities. Perhaps take part in many of the activities on offer, or relax on deck with a good book from the well-stocked library.

Day 6 Corfu
This morning we arrive in Corfu, one of the largest and greenest Greek islands, offering the perfect mix of sun, sea, sand and fascinating culture. Corfu Town is well worth a visit, which is made up in two parts, Old Town and New Town. In the Old Town you will find elegant churches of various religions and the maze of cobbled streets with the old fortress that stands proudly over looking the town, whereas the New Town holds an abundance of cosmopolitan shops. We sail late this afternoon.

Day 7 Santorini Island
We arrive this afternoon on the volcanic island, Santorini. The landscape of the island is considered to be one of the most spectacular in the world. Glimmering white painted villages located on the highest point of the cliffs that are approximately 300 metres high, offering breathtaking views. Santorini also offers beautiful beaches with white, black or red sand. We sail late tonight.

Day 8 Mykonos
A morning arrival on the island of Mykonos. Although it is one of the smallest islands of the Cyclades, it is definitely one of the most desired destinations. It offers a cosmopolitan lifestyle, sophisticated nightlife, picturesque villages and the historic treasures of the nearby Delos. We sail early evening.

Day 9 Katakolon (Olympia)
Today we arrive in Katakolon, the gateway to Olympia, where the ancient Greeks flocked every four years for more than a millennium, to celebrate the sacred games dedicated to Zeus. Perhaps visit the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, which housed the gold-and-ivory statue of Zeus, recognised as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. There may also be an opportunity to see the Temple of Hera, the Prytaneion and the Philippeion. We sail early evening.

Day 10 At Sea
A final day to relax onboard as we sail back to Venice.

Day 11 Venice – London
We arrive back into Venice where we transfer to Venice airport for your return British Airways flight to London Heathrow, where our staff will greet you and transfer you to your Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
