Day 2 : Arrive & Explore
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 : Journey to Alleppey
Travel to Alleppey, located between the Arabian Sea and Lake Vembanad – this is the gateway to the backwaters. Board your traditional houseboat and begin your journey through India’s iconic maze of tropical canals. (B,D)
Day 4 : Backwater Cruising
Spend the day on board your houseboat, cruising through still and undisturbed lagoons and lakes. Relax on board as breathtaking views of untouched rural Kerala slip by. (B,L,D)
Day 5 : Travel to Mararikulam
Disembark your houseboat and drive to Marari Beach, located on the tropical Malabar Coast. (B)
Day 6-7 : Relax in Mararikulam
Take the next two days at leisure. You may wish to spend time by the pool or on the beach, where you can see local fisherman on traditional wooden boats. (B)
Day 8 : Drive to Kochi
Depart for Kochi, where the rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 9 : Fly Kochi to UK
Fly to the UK. (B)
