Day 1 Depart London Heathrow
Your overnight flight departs this evening.
Day 2 Arrive Pretoria
At Johannesburg airport, you’ll meet your local guide and travel to nearby Pretoria, the leafy capital. Marvel at the imposing Parliament buildings, the Voortrekker Monument and Paul Kruger’s House. You’ll stay at the Holiday Inn Express Pretoria Sunnypark for 2 nights.
Day 3 Johannesburg
On today’s tour to Johannesburg you’ll travel to Soweto and the visit former home of Nelson Mandela. Continue to the impressive and interesting Apartheid Museum and the moving Hector Peterson Memorial, and you’ll also be able to get a feeling of the energetic and colourful culture of modern Soweto and Johannesburg.

Day 4 Pretoria to Kruger National Park
This morning you’ll journey north east through some iconic African scenery of rolling valleys to the spectacular Blyde River Canyon. You’ll witness the impressive sights of the Three Rondavels and God’s Window. You’ll then arrive at the gates of the Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s best wildlife parks, and continue to the Nkambeni game lodge for a 3 night stay in the African bush.

Day 5 Kruger Wildlife
At Nkambeni Lodge, you’ll stay in authentic timber and canvas cabins which open out to the environment, enabling you to hear the beautiful sounds of the savannah; the call of a bird of prey, the distinctive sound of an elephant and the roar of a distant lion. This morning you’ll experience a game drive in an open-top jeep in search of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for elephant, giraffe, buffalo, antelope, leopard and lion. You’ll be accompanied by expert game trackers and guides who will be able to explain the habits and movements of the animals you will see. This evening a sundowner drive will introduce you to the incredible savannah at sunset and you may see big cats hunting after dark. You’ll return to the lodge for a hearty dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 6 Kruger Wildlife
Another day in the Kruger offers the possibility to see the wildlife you might not yet have seen. You’ll enjoy game drives in the morning and afternoon and you have the option to take a morning bush walk to study the ecosystem and smaller animals up close. There will also be time to relax around the lodge and unwind amongst pristine nature.

Day 7 Kruger to Victoria Falls, Zambia
This morning you’ll travel to Mpumalanga for a flight to Zambia and the astounding Victoria Falls. On arrival transfer to the Zambezi Sun Hotel for 3 nights.

Day 8 Victoria Falls
On a morning walking tour around Victoria Falls you’ll be able to experience the exhilarating sight, the thundering sound and feel the spray of one of the world’s biggest waterfalls. The waters fall over a steep cataract formed in the middle of the Zambezi, one of Africa’s largest and most powerful rivers. This evening you can take an optional sundowner cruise and enjoy drinks on the quiet waters above the falls on the upper Zambezi.

Day 9 Victoria Falls
Today is yours to do as you please. Relax by the river or you can take an optional tour to the Zimbabwe side of the falls for a different and no less spectacular aspect. There’s the option of visiting the local Zambian villages and you can also choose from some adventure activities.

Day 10 Victoria Falls to London
This afternoon you’ll transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to London via Johannesburg. Alternatively why not extend your stay with a safari in Zambia or Zimbabwe both, with different experiences to offer.

Day 11 Arrive London Heathrow
Early morning arrival into London.
