Lake Garda & the Dolomites

Day 1 London – Dolomites
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Gatwick Airport for your direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Verona or Venice. Our coach then takes us to the heart of the Dolomites in Rodengo, where we will stay at the family run 3* Hotel Alpenland Rodeneggerhof for the next four nights with dinner included each night. A welcome drink is offered upon arrival.

Day 2 Vipiteno – Bressanone
Today we visit Vipiteno, which is typically Tyrolean with its geranium-filled balconies and wood panelled inns, although the streets are lined with Renaissance buildings. We also travel to Bressanone, one of the oldest towns in the area, to wander through the enchanting old lanes and pass the Gothic town houses.

Day 3 Brunico – Ortisei
Our first stop today is Brunico, overlooked by a medieval castle and where you may wish to spend some time in the town’s folklore museum. We continue to Ortisei and enjoy a cable car ride over the Seisser Alm region, scattered with Alpine meadows and wooden farmsteads.

Day 4 Rodengo
You are at leisure today to enjoy the fine facilities at the hotel and the spectacular scenery.

Day 5 Bolzano – Trento – Lake Garda
This morning we drive to Bolzano, which became part of Italy after the First World War but still has a distinctly Austrian feel due to the attractive, arcaded streets lined with outdoor cafés. During your time here, you may choose to visit the Archaelogical Museum where you can see the 5300 year old ‘Ice Man’ that was found in a glacier in the Alps. On our way to Lake Garda today, we stop at the town of Trento for some free time. Our hotel will be the 4* Hotel Savoy Palace in Gardone Riviera that overlooks the south west of the lake and you will be greeted with a welcome drink.

Day 6 Verona – Sirmione
Today there will be a guided tour of Verona, which begins by coach to give you an overview of this compact city and then continues on foot where you will see Juliet’s famous balcony and statue. Heading back to Lake Garda, we visit Sirmione, a historic town that used to defend the whole southern peninsula and you may choose to visit the Scaligeri Castle during your time here.

Day 7 Malcesine
Today we travel by boat to Malcesine, a pleasant and relaxing way to explore Lake Garda. You are free for your own explorations.

Day 8 Lake Garda – London
We depart this morning for Verona or Venice for your direct, scheduled British Airways flight to London Gatwick Airport where our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
