Day 1 Depart London
You’ll fly overnight to Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi
Board the Palace on Wheels in the country’s capital and following a traditional welcome among the train’s carved furniture and elegant handicrafts, you’ll depart for Jaipur. Each cabin features twin beds, large windows, en-suite shower room, and is attended by your Khidmatgar or personal waiter.

Day 3 Jaipur
Morning arrival into the stunning ‘Pink City’, to see the ‘Palace of the Wind’ Hawa Mahal, the 16th century Amber Fort and the City Palace, home to the son of the last Maharaja.

Day 4 Ranthambore National Park & Chittorgarh
An early morning jeep safari takes you into Ranthambore National Park, known for its animal and bird life, then travel on to Chittorgarh where you’ll see the sound and light show at the Fort.

Day 5 Udaipur
Arriving into Udaipur, the city of lakes, you’ll visit the Garden of Fountains and Durbar, before crossing beautiful Lake Pichola by boat to visit the largest palace complex in Rajasthan.

Day 6 Jaisalmer
Situated in the sand dunes of the Thar Desert is Jaisalmer with its yellow sandstone fort and havelis. Here you’ll have chance to ride a camel and pick up some local handicrafts.

Day 7 Jodphur
Jodphur is known as The Sun City, and is home to some of the area’s oldest sites. The magnificent fort is a delight to visit.

Day 8 Bharatpur & Agra
An early morning trip to a bird lover’s paradise is followed by the Red Fort and Taj Mahal in Agra.

Day 9 Delhi to London
Disembark in Delhi and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
