Panama Canal Adventure – Reverse Itinerary
Day 1: UK/Miami
You’ll fly to Miami today. On arrival, transfer to your hotel, where you’ll stay for one night.
Day 2: Fort Lauderdale/Coral Princess
Today you will transfer to Fort Lauderdale, where you will embark your ship, Coral Princess and begin your cruise.
Days 3 – 4: Coral Princess
After Leaving Fort Luderdale, you’ll spend some relaxing time at sea. Enjoy your ship’s superb facilities and the Caribbean weather.
Day 5: Aruba
Situated in the southern Caribbean, Aruba is a tiny island with a diverse landscape. White-sand beaches line the shores on one side, while on the other the coastline is rugged and wild. You can explore the island this morning, or perhaps wander around the flea markets – a major feature of life here. Take a look around the capital, Oranjestad, or head to an idyllic beach and laze in the sunshine.
Day 6: Cartegena
The mesmerising and beautiful Columbian city of Cartegena is today’s destination – you can take your seat in a pavement café to simply admire the passing of daily life in this colourful city which teems with history. Horse-drawn carriages are commonplace along the cobbled streets and shady squares, where magnificent churches and displays of the local blooms take centre-stage.
Day 7: Panama Canal
Today, you’ll cruise along the Panama Canal. This narrow, man-made strip of water connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and since its completion in 1914 has been widely regarded as one of the world’s most exceptional engineering feats.
You’ll depart in the early hours, and it will take around 10 hours to navigate the canal, during which time you can relax and admire the wonderful rainforest landscape and look out for the many species of exotic animal and bird that enjoy this unspoiled environment.
Day 8: Coral Princess
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea today.
Day 9: Puntarenas
The lively Costa Rican town of Puntarenas has a great local beach culture. It is also well placed for visits to places of interest. Look out for howler monkeys and white hawks in the spectacular Los Angeles Cloud Forest, explore Turu Ba Ri Tropical Park, tour a coffee plantation or drive along the Pan American Highway to the capital San José.
Day 10: San Juan Del Sur
Nicaragua is the largest country in Central America, and after a dramatic recent past, is now slowly opening up to tourism. Spend the day in the sandy cove of San Juan Del Sur, a delightful resort where you can relax on the beaches, take part in activities on offer, from surfing to yoga, explore the charming town, and maybe enjoy a cocktail in one of the bars which offer wonderful views over the island.
Days 11 – 12: Coral Princess
Relax on board your ship soaking up the sun, or enjoying the world-class entertainment on offer.
Day 13: Cabo San Lucas
As you sail into Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the rugged coastline. Take the opportunity to enjoy the sparkling waters of this inviting beach resort and unwind in the warm sunshine.
Day 14: Coral Princess
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea as you head towards Los Angeles.
Day 15: Coral Princess/Los Angeles
After disembarking the Coral Princess you’ll transfer to your hotel in Los Angeles
Day 17: Los Angeles
Los Angeles is one of the USA’s most exciting cities, with highlights including the Hollywood Bowl, Graumann’s Chinese Theater with its famous hand and foot prints of movie stars and Sunset Strip. Today is free for you to explore at your own pace.
Day 18: Los Angeles/UK
You’ll transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
Day 19: UK
Arrival back in the UK.

Leisure facilities include three pools and there is a choice of sporting and entertainment activities. Staterooms feature en suite facilities, TV and fridge.
