Day 1 Depart London Heathrow
Your overnight flight departs this evening.
Day 2 Lima
Morning arrival in Lima where you’ll transfer to the Casa Andina Select Miraflores hotel for 2 nights. The rest of the day is at leisure to unwind and explore the Miraflores area.
Day 3 Lima
You’ll explore one of the oldest cities in the Americas on a morning tour of the historic centre of Lima, including the Cathedral and San Francisco Monastery and an intriguing visit to the centuries-old family mansion of Casa Aliaga. You’ll then head out of the centre and visit the Larco museum

Day 4 Lima to Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas
When your morning flight lands in Cusco, you’ll transfer directly into the Sacred Valley. Stop in the traditional town of Chinchero, with views of snowcapped peaks, ancient farm terraces and sleepy villages that are untouched by time. Continue to the Agustos hotel for 2 nights.

Day 5 Sacred Valley of the Incas
You’ll embark on a full day tour today, which begins at the Pisac archaeological complex to
see the remains of Incan dwellings, temples, and terracing. You’ll be able to bargain for handicrafts and souvenirs at the colourful Pisac market then, after lunch at a local countryside restaurant, you’ll visit the impressive Incan fortress of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to the valley.

Day 6 Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
This morning you’ll board the train for an amazing journey through the gorge towards the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. You’ll have a guided tour of the ruins with an expert guide and after lunch there is plenty of time to explore after the crowds have dispersed. Overnight in the valley below at the boutique El Mapi hotel.

Day 7 Machu Picchu to Cusco
You have a free morning, but we recommend you get up early to experience the silent dawn at this magical place. The more adventurous might like to book a ticket to walk up Huayna Picchu, from where you can really appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu. This afternoon you’ll take the train and coach back to Cusco for 3 nights at the hotel Los Portales.

Day 8 Cusco
Cusco has the finest examples of Incan history and architecture, which you’ll discover on a half day tour of the city. You’ll visit the cathedral and Koricancha Temple and the surrounding ruins including Kenko amphitheatre and Sacsayhuaman, set high above the city.

Day 9 Cusco
Cusco is a lively city offering much to see and do on your free day. A popular way to spend the day is to ‘just get lost’ among the twisting streets, nipping into shops and galleries and exploring at you own pace, then relaxing in a town square café.

Day 10 Depart Cusco
After a morning at leisure you’ll transfer to the airport to board your flight to London, via Lima and Madrid.

Day 11 Arrive London Heathrow
Your flight lands into London this afternoon.
