Scenic Lakes of Slovenia

Day 1 London – Zagreb – Bled
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to Heathrow Airport and our direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Zagreb, Croatia. On arrival we transfer into Slovenia and the town of Bled, where our base for the next seven nights is The Hotel Park, our location for dinner.

Day 2 Bled
This morning we begin our exploration of this delightful part of Slovenia, with an orientation walk around Lake Bled. The glacial lake, surrounded by mountains and forests forms part of the Julian Alps, with an island rising from the western end, home to a striking 15th century church. This afternoon is free to continue your discoveries or join an optional excursion to the Slovenian capital Ljubljana to marvel at its historic facades and monuments. Dinner is included this evening.

Day 3 Bohinj Lake
Our excursion today takes us to Bohinj Lake, Slovenia’s largest glacial lake, nestled within the Bohinj Valley. Prepare to be captivated by the stunning mountainous scenery and the wondrous serene lake. Photos are rarely able to capture the true breathtaking magic of such scenery. Dinner is at our hotel this evening.

Day 4-5 Bled
You are at leisure for the next two days to relax at your hotel and absorb the charming surroundings of the town. There are also many opportunities to join an optional excursion; perhaps to Postojna Cave an impressive cave system, where the stalagmites and stalactites create beautiful naturally occurring patterns. Or a ‘Taste of Slovenia’ excursion may be more of interest. Dinner is included on both evenings.

Day 6 Triglav National Park
Triglav National Park is our destination today and we may catch a glimpse of Mount Triglav, its highest peak reaching approximately 2800 metres. Joining the Italian and Austrian Alps, this beautiful natural wonderland is home to many endemic plants such as Triglav Hawkesbeard and the Julian Poppy. If we are lucky we may spot ibex or red deer drinking from crystal clear waters. We return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7 Bled
Today you are free to enjoy the remainder of your holiday, relaxing within your hotel surroundings or further time to join an optional excursion. Dinner is included.

Day 8 Bled – Zagreb – London
We transfer back into Croatia and Zagreb Airport for our direct British Airways flight to Heathrow Airport. On arrival our staff will greet you and transfer you to your Titan transport for the return journey home to your own front door.
