Scenic Spectacular Vancouver Inside Passage Cruise and Rockies

Day 1 London – Vancouver
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Heathrow Airport and your scheduled Air Canada direct flight to Vancouver, where our coach transfers us to our hotel for the next two nights, the Coast Coal Harbour.

Day 2 Vancouver
This morning a short orientation tour of Vancouver has been arranged. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy this city. Why not take an optional excursion to Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Day 3 Vancouver – Victoria
We depart Vancouver for Tsawwassen and our morning ferry cruise through the beautiful Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island. On arrival at Swartz Bay we will be making an included visit to the world famous Butchart Gardens. From here we drive to Victoria, and our hotel the Executive House Hotel.

Day 4 Victoria
A day at leisure to enjoy Victoria and its many attractions. Described in 1843 by an official of the Hudson’s Bay Company as ‘a perfect Eden’, Victoria remains true to its earliest plaudits.

Day 5 Victoria – Ucluelet
Today we take a scenic drive to the picturesque east coast of Vancouver Island, ranked among the top three drives in Canada. Our fi rst stop is Duncan, ‘City of Totem Poles’ and visit the Native Heritage Centre, offering an authentic interpretation of life and traditions of the Pacifi c Coast tribes. We continue onto Chemainus, famous for its murals scattered throughout the village and then Nanaimo, the Harbour City. We will enjoy a city tour before we continue onto Ucluelet. Our hotel for the next two nights is the Black Rock Oceanfront Resort.

Day 6 Ucluelet – Tofino – Ucluelet
This morning we explore the resort of Tofino located in Clayoquot Sound, comprising about 400,000 hectares of land and marine within the Pacific Rim National Park. We will visit Chesterman and Long Beach plus the Botanical Gardens before some free time in the town to enjoy lunch at one of the many cafés before returning back to Ucluelet. This afternoon you may wish to walk part of the Wild Pacific Trail that starts from your hotel and follows the spectacular rugged coastline for some breathtaking views.

Day 7 Ucluelet – Campbell River
Our drive today takes us back to the west coast to join the Oceanside Route heading to Campbell River. From the south, meander through the picturesque oceanside communities of Parksville and Qualicum Beach, where views stretch across sandy beaches, the Strait of Georgia and beyond. We drive through the Comox Valley alongside the sea and into the farmlands of Merville and Black Creek before reaching the wilderness resort of Campbell River. Our accommodation in Campbell River is the Coast Discovery Inn and Marina.

Day 8 Campbell River – Port Hardy
From Campbell River to Telegraph Cove and our included wildlife cruise. The cruise takes us out into the Johnstone Strait which, from late June to mid-September, is best known for its resident pods of killer whales. Afterwards we continue to Port Hardy. Our hotel this evening is the Port Hardy Inn.

Day 9 Port Hardy – Prince Rupert
An early start today to join BC Ferries for a remarkable cruise through the 274 nautical mile Inside Passage route between Port Hardy and Prince Rupert. This sheltered marine highway is one of the world’s greatest waterways. It follows a series of natural channels and once beyond Queen Charlotte Sound is protected from ocean swells by the islands and the rugged, densely wooded mountains of the British Columbia coastline. Late tonight we dock in Prince Rupert and transfer to our hotel for the night, the Crest Hotel.

Day 10 Prince Rupert – Via Rail – Prince George
This morning we board Via Rail’s Prince Rupert to Jasper bound train for Prince George. Sit back, relax and view the scenery of northern British Columbia as we pass settlements, farms and sawmills dotting a landscape defined by mountains, forests and lakes. We travel in Touring Class which features meals and hot drinks served at your seat, use of the Park Car lounges and Observation Dome. Our trip ends today in Prince George, which is located at the confluence of the Fraser and Nechako rivers, and boasts magnifi cent views of the Rockies. Our overnight accommodation is the Sandman Signature.

Day 11 Prince George – Jasper
Our drive today takes us on the Trans Canada Highway beside the Caribou Mountain Range. Watch out for elk, deer, caribou, and bears as we pass the wilderness. We cross into the Rocky Mountains, and travel along the Yellowhead Highway which meanders past Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies. We arrive into Jasper National Park and make our way to our hotel, the Chateau Jasper.

Day 12 Jasper
Today we enjoy an unforgettable sightseeing journey that begins with the limestone gorge of Maligne Canyon and continues along the Shore of Medicine Lake, to rushing Maligne River and one of the most photographed spots in the world, the breathtaking Maligne Lake. Our evening is spent in Jasper with an included dinner.

Day 13 Jasper – Columbia Icefield – Banff
We journey southwards by road through spectacular scenery of rugged peaks, aquamarine lakes and high-forested valleys. We stop at the Columbia Icefield one of the highest accumulations of ice and snow south of the Arctic Circle. Here we take an included Ice Explorer ride on to the surface of the Athabasca Glacier (subject to favourable weather conditions). We arrive in Banff later this afternoon and our hotel the Banff Park Lodge.

Day 14 Banff – Lake Louise – Banff
Today we tour the surrounds of Banff and also visit Lake Louise. Take a stroll by the lakeside and visit the Chateau, a luxury hotel with cafes and bars to enjoy. We return to Banff by a different route, which enables us to enjoy the beauties of the region.

Day 15 Banff – Calgary – In flight
Time for some last minute shopping and sightseeing before boarding our coach for the transfer to Calgary Airport and our Air Canada flight to London Heathrow.

Day 16 London
Arrival at London Heathrow Airport where our staff will greet and transfer you to Titan transport for the journey home to your own front door.
