Day 1 : Fly to Bangkok
Fly overnight to Bangkok.
Day 2 : Arrive & Explore
On arrival you will be met by your expert tour guide and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 : The Grand Palace
Discover the glittering Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace, Thailand’s most iconic and opulent attraction. The palace is a perfect example of an ancient Siamese court. The remainder of the day is free. (B)
Day 4 : Overnight Train to Chiang Mai
Today is at leisure to explore more of Bangkok. You may wish to see the famous floating market, or take a cruise on the Chao Phraya River. Later, transfer to the railway station for your overnight train to Chiang Mai. (B)
Day 5 : Discover Chiang Mai
On arrival in Chiang Mai you will be met by your tour guide – continue on a tour through the most historic areas of Chiang Mai to the profoundly sacred Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep. Next, visit the colourful Meo Pui tribal village. The rest of the day is free. (B)
Day 6 : Chiang Mai at Leisure
Spend today at leisure, exploring Chiang Mai. You may wish to stroll through the old city and discover ancient temples, or search for bargains in the night bazaar. Witness traditional Muay Thai, and choose from a smorgasbord of cuisine; from Burmese curries and Japanese sushi to local street food. (B)
Day 7 : Journey to Hua Hin
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Bangkok before driving to the white sands and turquoise waters of Hua Hin. (B)
Days 8-10 : Relax in Hua Hin
Thailand’s original beach resort, Hua Hin presents a happy mix of beachside relaxation with a cosmopolitan air. Explore lively markets, try fresh local seafood, or take a day trip to one of the nearby national parks or tropical islands. (B)
Days 11-12 : Fly Bangkok to UK
Transfer back to Bangkok, and later catch your overnight flight to the UK. (B)
