Three River Highlights
A magical journey to some of Zambia and Botswana’s major rivers combining some of the best National Parks. This itinerary visits The Luangwa River in the South Luangwa National Park, The Zambezi River in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and the Chobe River which runs alongside the Chobe National Park.
Enjoy incredible scenery and spot the wildlife that frequent these rivers and perhaps end the day on a sunset cruise. Our accommodation is very close to the water to enable you to see wildlife from the camps.
DAY 1 HEATHROW – LUSAKA AIRPORT
Overnight flight from Heathrow to Lusaka, via Johannesburg
DAY 2 SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK
On arrival at Lusaka airport transfer for your onward flight to Mfuwe. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your camp. On route to the camp you can enjoy the sights of Mfuwe Village and a game drive through the park. Overnight: Puku Ridge Camp. (d)
DAY 3 SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy the day at leisure including the game viewing activities on offer. Overnight: Puku Ridge Camp. (b,l,d)
DAY 4 MOSI-OA-TUNYA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will be transferred to Mfuwe International Airport for your flight to Livingstone via Lusaka. On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge. The afternoon is free to enjoy the activities available. Overnight: Sussi & Chuma. (b,l,d)
DAY 5 MOSI-OA-TUNYA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy the day at leisure including the game viewing activities on offer. Overnight: Sussi & Chuma. (b,l,d)
DAY 6 CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast enjoy a transfer by road and ferry crossing to your final accommodation bordering the Chobe National Park. The afternoon is spent relaxing at the lodge or enjoying the activities on offer. Overnight: Chobe Chilwero. (b,l,d)
DAY 7 CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy the day at leisure with a choice of game viewing activities or spa treatments at the lodge. Overnight: Chobe Chilwero. (b,l,d)
DAY 8 KASANE – HEATHROW
A final morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. Your guide will then transfer you to Kasane airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg and Heathrow. Alternatively, extend your stay in the Okavango Delta. (b)
