Treasures of Taormina

Day 1 London – Catania – Taormina
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Gatwick or Heathrow Airport for your direct, scheduled British Airways flight or indirect Alitalia flight via Rome to Catania. On arrival (usually late evening) we are transferred by coach to the centrally located 4 star Hotel Villa Diodoro.

Day 2 Taormina
Today we have included the entrance to the Roman Greek Theatre that is located in Taormina and just a short walk from your hotel. Once you have finished your independent visit, and admired the view, if it is a clear day, you are free to explore Taormina.

Day 3 Armerina – Valley of the Temples
We walk the short distance to meet our coach and depart for our full day excursion that begins with the Roman Villa at Piazza Armerina where the mosaic floors are one of the highlights. In the afternoon we have included a guided visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.

Day 4 Taormina
You are at leisure today to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool or relax in one of the comfortable and characteristic public rooms of your hotel.

Day 5 Taormina
Today you may choose to spend more time independently exploring Taormina or we are pleased to offer a pre-bookable excursion to the archaeological site of Syracuse.

Day 6 Mount Etna
This morning we drive about halfway up the slopes of Mount Etna to walk amongst the ash covered craters and enjoy the views (weather permitting). A local guide will accompany us. We return to Taormina in the afternoon and you are free for the rest of the day.

Day 7 Taormina – Catania – London
Before arriving at the airport today we have some time to explore Catania itself. We later check in for your direct, scheduled flight to London Gatwick Airport where our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
