Day 1 London – Oporto
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Gatwick Airport and our direct flight, scheduled TAP Air Portugal flight to Oporto. On arrival we transfer to the Galicia area and the Hotel Carlos.

Day 2 Santiago de Compostela
We depart this morning for Santiago, one of Spain’s most beautiful cities, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is famed throughout the world as the destination for millions of pilgrims who have walked the path of the Camino de Santiago (the way of St James) for over a thousand years. Our guided walking tour includes the historical old quarter, with its narrow meandering streets featuring Romanesque and Baroque architectural splendours and the magnificent Santiago Cathedral, amongst other interesting sights.

Day 3 Sanxenxo
A day at leisure. Alternatively take an optional excursion to view one of the most attractive coastal areas of Galicia and a visit to the well-known fishing village of O Grove, renowned for its seafood. Here board a catamaran to view the mussels, oysters and scallop farms around the coastal inlets with the opportunity for wine tasting.

Day 4 Pontevedra & Combarro
After breakfast, we depart for Pontevedra, where we take an included guided walking tour of this beautiful old city visiting the basilica of Santa Maria from the 15th century, Teucro Square and Verdura Square etc. We will have free time to visit the 13th century Church of San Francisco and Basilica of “La Peregrina”.
Our tour concludes with a visit to the picturesque fishing village of Combarro, raised on rocks, and an opportunity to stroll through the narrow streets typical with its famous taverns. Later we return to our hotel.

Day 5 Sanxenxo
A further day at leisure, alternatively take an optional excursion visiting the beautiful city of La Coruña, with highlights including the Tower of Hercules, where we stop to climb to the top of the oldest functioning lighthouse, then continue with the panoramic tour to Orzan and Riazor beaches and the city centre. Afternoon in Betanzos visiting the medieval town before returning to our hotel.

Day 6 Baiona, Mount St Teresa & Valenca
After breakfast, we drive to Baiona, this picturesque fishing port was the first town of the old continent in receiving news of the discovery of America in 1493. Following the coast to A Guarda where we have free time for lunch. A climb to Mount St Teresa will see the remains of the Celtic settlement some 641 metres high. This afternoon we continue our journey following the course of the Miño River to the Portuguese border town of Valenca do Minho, where we will visit the defensive fortress. We return to our hotel this evening.

Day 7 Sanxenxo
Today you are at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s facilities.

Day 8 Oporto – London
Today we depart for Oporto Airport for our direct scheduled TAP Air Portugal flight to London Gatwick Airport. On arrival our staff will greet you and transfer you to your Titan transport for the return journey home to your own front door.
