Days 1-2 : Fly to Beijing

Fly overnight to Beijing, capital of China.

Day 3 : Explore Beijing

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing and sample the local delicacy, Peking Duck. (B,L,D)

Day 4 : Great Wall & Summer Palace

Walk on the Great Wall, tour the exquisite Summer Palace and see a fascinating Chinese Acrobatic show. (B,L)

Day 5 : Fly to Xian

Fly to Xian, the former ancient capital and enjoy a Shui Jiao dumpling meal followed by a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing. (B,L,D)

Day 6 : Terracotta Warriors

Visit the Terracotta Warriors and walk along the Ancient City Wall. (B,L)

Days 7-10 : Yangtze River Cruise

Board the Yangtze River Cruise vessel for four nights. Over the next three days, enjoy various side trips and shore excursions along the way. (B,L,D)

Day 11 : Fly to Guilin

Disembark the cruise vessel and visit the Panda House at Chongqing Zoo. Later, fly to the beautiful city of Guilin. (B,L)

Days 12-13 : Li River Cruise & Yangshuo

Cruise the stunning Li River to Yangshuo. (B,L). The next day, explore the colourful local markets before returning to Guilin to visit the atmospheric Reed Flute Caves. (B,L)

Days 14-15 : Fly to Shanghai

Fly to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai, also known as the ‘Paris of the East’. Enjoy two full days of sightseeing as well as a cruise on the panoramic Huangpu River. (B,L)

Day 16 : Fly Shanghai to UK

Fly to the UK, arriving home the same or following day. (B)
